🎲 Liar's Dice
How to play
Everyone rolls their dice in secret. You can see only your own.
On your turn, either raise the bid, which is a claim about all the dice on the table, like "there are at least five 4s", or challenge the last bid:
Liar! All dice are revealed. If the bid was wrong, the bidder loses a die. If it was right, you lose one.
Spot on! You claim the count is exactly right. If you're right, you get a die back (up to the starting number). If you're wrong, you lose one.
A raise means a higher count, or the same count of a higher face. Whoever lost a die starts the next round. Lose all your dice and you're out. Last player with dice wins.
Ones are wild (optional, on by default): ones count as every face. You can't open on ones. To switch a bid to ones, you can halve the count (rounded up). To switch back from ones, you need double plus one.
